Science Day

Today in science we were continuing our topic about caterpillars and butterflies. Today the very hungry caterpillar visited the "Caterpillar Cafe". We looked at different kinds of foods that the caterpillar should and should not eat to grown into a healthy big caterpillar ready to change into a butterfly.

We got a chance to try some of the healthy food on offer and everyone tried at least 1 thing they weren't sure if they would like. Not everyone enjoyed the new tastes but we were all brave enough to try!

We decided that the caterpillar SHOULD eat:
-Lettuce
-Tomato
-Cucumber
-Kiwi
-Orange

We decided that he SHOULDN'T eat:
-Chocolate
-Crisps
-Sweets

We looked at the life cycle of the caterpillar and tomorrow we'll be doing a piece of writing all about this.
