Topic Afternoon- week 3

We had our topic afternoon today. We were continuing some activities based on Katie Morag and the new pier. Our activities today were:

- paint a picture for the lady artist to sell at the craft shop
- draw a thank you card (on the iPad) for Granny Island
- sort different shapes of letters in the post office
- build a new pier for the island
- sort the kitchen utensils into old and new

We also looked at a power point presentation about Islands and we learned the answers to these 2 questions:

- what is an island?
- how is an island made?

A very busy and exciting afternoon for p1-3!

    It is great having the blogg to refer to Miss Spiers as whenever we ask Samuel what he did at school he says "I don't know." It's only after we check the blogg and ask him about it he will start talking so thank you for your hard work.
