Royal Wedding Party

Today P1-3 had a super day celebrating the Royal Wedding. We read the story "Katie Morag and the Wedding" and drew mind maps of all the things you need to make a good wedding. We then looked at the Royal Family and completed a family tree by cutting and sticking pictures of them onto their family tree.

In the afternoon we had various rotations which included:

- Hair and nails for the girls

- Bee Bots and Pinwheels for the boys

- Decorating biscuits with Union Jack colours

- Sorting which clothes a boy and girl would wear to a wedding

- Learning the song "Mairi's Wedding"

After our rotations we finished we went out into the beautiful sunshine to eat our biscuits and have a drink.

A super day was had by all!
